Natural light photographer, I thrive on these fleeting moments where the love, joy, or soul shows. My artistic background is always showing through my photography work. You will get the more formal portraits, they are after all, what we are looking for at first . But beyond that, candid moments, soulful mood, unexpected places is also what I want to bring out... I hope you'll like my photographic vision...
Sincerely,
Isabelle ♥

V. in the evening sun

I just love playing with the setting sun's light, it always has such warmth and an amazing glow...
This is V. enjoying a little moment for herself while Daddy takes care of the new baby girl...
She is still radiant from her new motherhood glow...
I used radiant, from the Soulful Textures set, as a texture on these shots, it fits her so well...

Father and daughter

This weekend my friend celebrated his first Father's Day, so I offered them a portrait...
Fathers and daughters have such a special bond, I can see it already... He just knows how to make her smile, it's so sweet to see them together.

At the railroad crossing...

You don't raise heroes, you raise sons. And if you treat them like sons, they'll turn out to be heroes, even if it's just in your own eyes.

I did these two photos at one of my favorite spots where the sun slowly goes down behind the railway. I'm pretty pleased with the results! Well, it goes without saying I have a special bond with the subject, but since I don't have new models for now, you'll have to put up with my portraiture practice featuring my sons! lol... I edited these with two different textures again, the set is taking form gradually... I printed them to see what the textures looked like too, and I love them! They've already found a place in some frames I had!

Moments that leave an imprint on your soul - IV

There are days I wish I could still hold you like the tiny miracle you once were.
Days where I would go back to smelling your apricot scented newborn hair.
But as much as I miss your baby days,
it fills my heart with joy to see the little boy you are today.

I'm currently working on a texture set, so these two photos were done with two of my textures. I used them on a previous
post too. I will be trying them out before making them available. If I am allowed some editing time, the set might be coming soon... I'll keep you posted!

Tiny hand holding big dreams...

I got to meet baby Lily again this weekend, she is such a lovely baby!
I wish I could photograph babies more often, even if it's not the easiest job!
I don't have much experience in portraiture, but I'm willing to try. I hope I'll get better along the way, practise makes perfect they say! So, send some subjects my way, I' m ready to learn...

With a knitted pod, done by yours truly!

Moments that leave an imprint on your soul...-II

In b&w...

And he walks by
Full of his 5 years old self-confidence
Each little step taking him farther
I'm so proud to see him grow
But I already miss him so...

I love you my sweet baby...
with a soft flare...

Moments that leave an imprint on your soul...

in b&w

He was totally unaware, of the golden light in his hair,
of the smile on my face,
and the tears in my eyes...

My precious boy, I love you...

in golden light and massive flare...

Maternity session II

I did my second maternity session, with my sister in law's belly again! Baby Lily will soon be here! These shots are different than the first session, for starters, I wanted to focus on not just the belly, but the whole mom to be! I wanted to show that they can be sexy too! With the help of an action called Bright Light by Dani (http://www.flickr.com/groups/743587@N25/) , I gave a glamorous look to this Mamma!

The next one was taken backlit, looking throught he window, gently expecting life's wonder... I only use a softened sepia for this one.
