FREE Easy as 1-2-3 Photoshop CS & Elements actions

Well, here is my last free set before summer...  After 16 free sets and more than 70 free actions, and 22 500 downloads, I need to find some new inspiration for creating actions.  I pretty much covered all the bases.
I'm sure that when summer is over I'll be back with new stuff, my creativity and inspiration renewed.

About this new set called Easy as 1-2-3, well, it's as simple as it gets.  One color pop action that you can customize either Warm or Cool by turning on the layers.  When you run the action, these layers will be turned off, you select the one you want to get a warm or a cool finish.  If you turn both on, you'll get a "balanced" tone.  You can leave them off too :)  You take the lead.  Same method applies for the Haze action, normal, warm, cool or balanced.   I added a 1-2-3 Retro action and a Vintage one as well.  Everything to make your editing simple and easy so you can, just like me, enjoy the upcoming summer.

Hi Karen! First of all, the action for pse is in the same zipped file, you dowload the file and then select the one you need. As for the thumbnail, I don't use the Photo Effects folder for my actions, that is not the way I work, and that's why I do not provide the icons to go with the actions. However, if you decide to use the Photo Effects folder the action will work, even without a thumbnail.

Here is the path I use, and I do believe it's the easiest way to go, since you never need any thumbnails for them.

Install actions created in Photoshop:
The Action Player in the Automated Actions guided edit can play actions created in Photoshop. Keep in mind that you can only play actions that use features supported in Photoshop Elements.


Copy the .atn file to the one of the following locations:
Windows XP
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\8.0\Locale\en_US\Workflow Panels\actions

Vista
C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\8.0\Locale\en_US\Workflow Panels\actions

The next time you start Photoshop Elements, the action will appear in the Automated Actions guided edit menu.
